This is a genuine ammonite fossil that still shows some of the ancient iridescence that was on the shell back when it was swimming around in the ancient inland ocean~ It’s been paired with some silvery mollusk shells on the side~

This is a hand crafted pendant made of metal, ammonite fossil, and magic~ The pictures show the front and back of this piece, as I wanted the fossil to be able to be felt upon the skin or fabric while worn.

The stone is sheathed in a lead free, silver metal tin using a stained glass method called tiffany technique. It has been patinaed and sanded to give off an air of ancient enchantment, like a relic from a long forgotten age~ Stones are chosen for their beauty and natural magic. It has been coated with a protective sealant to make the metal skin safe and protect from external moisture in the environment.

The dimensions of this pendant are about 3.5"x2.25"
