This is a slice of genuine ammonite fossil that shows the chambers inside the shell and the sutures on the outside that held the shell together back when it was a swimming creature in an ancient sea.

This is a hand crafted pendant made of metal, ammonite fossil, and magic~ The pictures show the front and back of the piece as I wanted this to be a reversible pendant when worn~

The stone is sheathed in a lead free, silver metal tin using a stained glass method called tiffany technique. It has been patinaed and sanded to give off an air of ancient enchantment, like a relic from a long forgotten age~ Stones are chosen for their beauty and natural magic. It has been coated with a protective sealant to make the metal skin safe and protect from external moisture in the environment.

The dimensions of this pendant are about 4"x2.25"
